A Legacy Built in Wood
Tucked above our Stouffville Main Store, Harry’s Workshop has been part of Schell Lumber for decades. Originally known as the Schell Sash and Door Workshop, it was famously run for years by the late Harry Schell, a craftsman whose skill and ingenuity became a quiet legend in the community.
Today, the workshop is carried on by Harry’s grandson, Jeremy, who brings the same dedication to the craft and an equally deep knowledge of what wood can do in the right hands. The tools have evolved, but the approach hasn’t: every project is built with care, precision, and a genuine respect for the material.
